homework

Grabbed an idea from Family Fun magazine for this homework station- half of a science project board with clothes pinned spelling lists, magnets, calendar, reading log folder, homework holder, and everything he needs to get it done without having to look for a sharp pencil, etc- and it puts up a bit of a blinder to avoid distractions. It folds up and gets tucked away when we don't need to think about homework. Hey we'll try anything to make homework time less painful-(the Smarties are a tradition from his dad!).

Hmm....let me guess...he hates it? Or maybe he just isn't interested in it?

I want a picture of me studying on there as a good example. Lol. Seriously though, can you make me one??? Grad students need visual blockers from the rest of the world too. ♥

That's great! We have a starburst jar for Ryan this year...no whining/crying while doing homework=1 starburst. I thought I was going to die after the 1st week with homework, so in came the bribery, and it's working wonderfully!
