We heard the rain and sleet during the night and we woke up to a crystal world. Everything had a thick coat of ice- everything including the snow that was already on the ground. The bricks of the house were glass, every branch and twig. the icicle lights we hung were really icicles. It really was amazing and did they close the schools or even delay? Not in Chicago!!

You really are walking in a winter wonderland. We got your Christmas Card and we LOVED the picture. We can't wait to see you. By the way, even though it is against everything I believe in, I will be bringing dish towels as a gift.
well, come back to VA. It was like 75 the day after Christmas.
