To celebrate Matt's 34th birthday, first he cut the grass then the three of us dined in the gazebo. Dad had his favorite company chicken on the "celebration" plate. Dinner was followed by gifts and the cake presentation with candles and song. Seth had this cake designed weeks ago but we couldn't find the "Indiana Jones" M&M's from his original plan so we had to use the regular ones but I think Dad hardly noticed. Seth got to stay up a little late because of the party and he still got to soak in the bath while his dad read to him from one of his chapter books. After Seth fell asleep Dad challenged Mom to a game of Triple Triumph (um-the game Seth got his dad for his birthday). What royalty or celebrity could have a better birthday celebration?29 May 2008
